I happen to be in the area visiting my brother in Altadena and came across the center by chance. Being new to the area can be quite a challenge and it's a wonderful discovery. Its rather small, a few offices and handful of staff There is a Large room in the back for larger groups and meetings as well. Overall a cozy warm and inviting atmosphere. What makes this place stand out though are the people whose work there, both Carl and Maryland have been extraordinarily helpful and and I'm quite grateful and delighted for the bonds and friendships created since coming around. The one who person that makes this place so unique and special is Shirley. An exceptional woman with infinite capabilities and resources. I'm undeniably and throughly indebted to her. Please be kind to yourself and come meet with her even if it's a minor issue you may be dealing with, she has solutions for far many more issues and problems than you might think you might have.
